Dr. Sharma has overall clinical experience of 18 years during which he got opportunities to work with some of the premier hospitals in India. While pursuing his specialisation, he worked with SMS Medical College, Escorts Heart Institute, SGPGI and India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi. As a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, he served in leading hospitals like Fortis Escorts Hospital, SK Soni Hospital, Heart and General Hospital and Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre. 

He also served as an Assistant Professor at the Dept of Internal Medicine of Mahatma Gandhi National Institute of Medical Science, Jaipur for a brief period in 2001.
